Payment is due upon completion of the work. Invoices will be submitted upon completion of the work and are due upon receipt. Unless noted otherwise, all currency references are in U.S. dollars.
Invoices not paid in full within ten days of the due date are subject to a finance charge of eighteen percent simple annual interest calculated daily on the unpaid balance from the due date.
Any payment received shall be applied first to any finance charges, then to any cost of collection, including attorneys fees, then to the oldest outstanding invoice, or in such other order as determined.
Half Price Geeks shall have the right to withhold services if any invoice remains unpaid longer than ten days after the due date of the invoice. Half Price Geeks reserves the right to withhold delivery until all invoices are paid in full.
11. Credit Card Billing
When scheduling service, you may be asked to provide us with a credit card number from a card issuer that we accept in order to schedule and confirm your appointment.
You authorize Half Price Geeks to charge and/or place a hold on your credit card with respect to any unpaid charges for services or any related equipment. You authorize the issuer of the credit card to pay any amounts described herein without requiring a signed receipt, and you agree that these charges are to be accepted as authorization to the issuer of the credit card to pay all such amounts.
You authorize Half Price Geeks and/or any other company who bills products or services, or acts as a billing agent for Half Price Geeks, to continue to attempt to charge and/or place holds with respect to all sums described herein, or any portion thereof, to your credit card until such amounts are paid in full.
You agree to provide Half Price Geeks with updated credit card information upon our request and any time the information you previously provided is no longer valid.
If you mistakenly provide a debit card number instead of a credit card number, you authorize all charges described herein to be applied to such debit card unless and until you provide a credit card number.
You acknowledge and agree that neither Half Price Geeks nor any Half Price Geeks affiliated company will have any liability whatsoever for any non-sufficient funds or other charges incurred by you as a result of such attempts to charge and/or place holds on your credit card.
In the event you are enrolled, or later enroll, in an automatic payment or electronic funds transfer plan, you agree that all sums described herein may be charged, at Half Price Geeks option, to the account number provided for such automatic payment or electronic funds transfer plan.
When payment is made by credit card or debit card, payment will also be subject to the terms and conditions established by the credit or debit card issuer. If charges cannot be processed through your credit card, or if your bank draft or electronic funds transfer is returned for insufficient funds, we will charge you an additional $25.00 fee.
12. Data and Hard Drives
Please note that the only effective protection for your data is regular backup of data.
For a fee, Half Price Geeks may transfer data present on your hard drive during drive repair or replacement. If requested at repair initiation, the Half Price Geeks technician will attempt to transfer data to the replacement drive and, if data transfer is successful, you will be charged.
Half Price Geeks cannot over-emphasize the importance of properly backing up your data before your unit is in need of repair.
13. Delays, Rescheduling, and Cancellation
Half Price Geeks shall not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver any or all of the services.
Should you need to cancel or reschedule service, please call dispatch at 877-774-3357. You may cancel an appointment 24 hours prior to the scheduled time. Failure to cancel a scheduled appointment without 24 hour notice will result in a $30 cancellation fee.

You authorize the issuer of the credit card to pay any amounts described herein without requiring a signed receipt, and you agree that these charges are to be accepted as authorization to the issuer of the credit card to pay all such amounts.
You authorize Half Price Geeks and/or any other company who bills products or services, or acts as a billing agent for Half Price Geeks, to continue to attempt to charge and/or place holds with respect to all sums described herein, or any portion thereof, to your credit card until such amounts are paid in full.
You agree to provide Half Price Geeks with updated credit card information upon our request and any time the information you previously provided is no longer valid.
